SABATTIER
Thanks to a special method of developping the film, discovered by Armand Sabattier in the early 1860s, the emerging prints come out partially inverted, giving them an unaccomplished, yet beautiful look. Buildings, objects and people stay recognizable, but are disfigured by the photographic process.
